Loukas Karabarbounis is Professor of Economics at the University of Minnesota and Research Consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. His research interests focus on macroeconomics, labor markets, business cycles, international finance, and inequality. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
