Lucia Quaglietti

Lucia Quaglietti is an Economist in the International Surveillance Division in the International Directorate at the Bank of England. In her current role, Lucia provides policymakers with conjunctural analysis on the outlook for euro-area economies. Lucia joined the Bank in 2013 having previously worked as an Economist in the International and EU group at HMT (UK Treasury) and in the Pensions Division at the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). Lucia received a PhD in Political Sciences from the Catholic University of Milan in 2010 and also holds a Masters degree in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
