Lukas Vogel is an economist at the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN) of the European Commission. He previously worked at the Economics Department of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the University of Bayreuth. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bayreuth. His main areas of work are macroeconomic modelling and the macroeconomics of fiscal, monetary and structural policies.
