Mara Squicciarini is an Associate Professor at Bocconi University and a research affiliate at the CEPR. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Leuven and she has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern University. Her research interests are in economic history, economic growth and development, and political economy.
