Maria Chiara Iannino is lecturer at the School of Economics and Finance, at the University of st Andrews. She graduated with a PhD in Economics at Queen Mary University of London, and started her academic career as an assistant professor at the University of Vienna, at the Department of Finance. Her main research interests lie in the areas of behavioural finance and in banking systemic risk. She currently studies the effect of regulation on the risk exposure of financial institutions, as well as the asset pricing implications of behavioural issues, such as institutional investors peer-effects and nominal price preferences.
