Maria Demertzis is a Research Fellow at Bruegel and a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Amsterdam. Previously she has worked at DG Ecfin at the European Commission, the Research Department of De Nederlandsche Bank, and has held various academic positions at Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Strathclyde. Her main research focuses on monetary policy, financial stability, radical uncertainty and EU governance.
