Maria Moral

Associate Professor in the Applied Economics department at National University of Distance Education

María J. Moral is an Associate Professor in the Applied Economics department at the UNED (National Distance Education University) in Madrid (Spain). Previously, she was an Associate Professor at University of Vigo (Spain). She obtained his PhD in Economics at Complutense University of Madrid with extraordinary award in 1999 and the award from Eduardo Barreiros Foundation for the research in the automobile sector. She has been Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania. Her primary interests focus on industrial organisation in oligopolistic markets, in particular, the estimation of equilibrium models to measure the effects of environmental regulation on firms and consumers behavior. In 2008 she joined FUNCAS where she serves as the Editor of Papeles de Economía Española (Spanish Economic Papers).
