Mariagiovanna Baccara is a Professor at the Olin School of Business of Washington University in Saint Louis. She is a Research Fellow of the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR), a fellow of the Society of Advancement of Economic Theory (SAET), and she currently holds editorial positions at American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, Theoretical Economics, and International Journal of Industrial Organization. Her work has been published in the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Economic Theory, and other leading academic journals. Professor Baccara’s main research interests involve matching, the markets for information, organization theory, and social networks. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University in 2003.
