Mark Sanders

Mark Sanders is Assistant Professor of International Macroeconomics at Utrecht University's School of Economics in the Netherlands. He has published on skill biased technical change, innovation, entrepreneurship and growth and more recently developed an interest in the role of entrepreneurship in energy transition and making the move towards a more sustainable economic system. Mark is an Associate Editor for Small Business Economics; an entrepreneurship journal and a Senior Research Fellow with the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena, Germany. Mark was a Visiting Scholar at Brown University (2004), George Mason University (Fairfax, 2006) and Indiana University (Bloomington, 2010). He is also a member of Sustainable Finance Lab and a 2011 grantee of the Institute of New Economic Thinking, developing ideas to make the financial sector more sustainable and finance economic transition.
