Markus Poschke is a Professor and William Dawson Scholar at McGill University. He is a Research Fellow at IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor) and at CIREQ (Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche en Economie Quantitative). He received his PhD from the European University Institute (EUI), Florence. His main research interests include firm dynamics, entrepreneurship, growth theory, structural change, the macroeconomics of labour markets, optimal taxation and inequality. His work in these areas has been published in the leading journals in macroeconomics.
