Martin Völpel

Financial Stability Expert at European Systemic Risk Board

Martin Völpel is currently a Financial Stability Expert at the European Systemic Risk Board where he focuses mainly on macroprudential policy topics related to the banking system. Prior to that, he has worked in various areas at the Directorate General Financial Stability of the Deutsche Bundesbank as well as the Bundesbank’s Representative Office in New York. Martin holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Mannheim.
