Matthew Jaremski is an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance at Utah State University and is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He received his PhD in Economics from Vanderbilt University, and has spent time consulting at the Office of Financial Research at the U.S. Treasury. His research involves the collection and analysis of historical bank-level data to study the causes and consequences of financial instability before the Great Depression.
