Maya Eden is an associate professor of economics at Brandeis University, and an affiliate of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and Oxford University's Global Priorities Institute. She is a co-organizer of the virtual seminar series Welfare Economics and Economic Policy, and an Associate Editor of the Review of Economic Dynamics.
Prior to joining Brandeis' economics department in the Fall of 2017, she worked as an economist in the Macroeconomics and Growth Team of the Development Economics Research Group at the World Bank.
Her primary research areas are welfare economics and macroeconomics.
