Michael Joyce

Adviser, Macro Financial Analysis Division at Bank Of England

Michael Joyce is an Adviser in the Macro Financial Analysis Division of the Bank of England, where his responsibilities include leading the Division’s research programme. Before joining the Bank he worked as a Research Officer at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. His recent work has focused on analysing the effects of the UK’s Quantitative Easing policy. His research has been published in the Economic Journal, the International Journal of Central Banking and the Journal of Banking and Finance. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
