Nicola Limodio is an Associate Professor of Finance at Bocconi University. His research focuses on the intersection between financial economics and development. His main projects focus on the study of financial institutions in emerging markets and understand their specific constraints and optimal regulation. He was awarded an ERC Starting Grant in 2023 and received his PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2017. During his career, he held visiting positions at Princeton University and the Stigler Center at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and consulted for the EBRD, IMF and World Bank.
