Paola is a Senior Economist at the European Central Bank, where she has worked since 2021. Previously, she worked in the Monetary Policy Department of Sveriges Riksbank. Her policy and research work focuses on international macroeconomics, monetary economics, housing and, more recently, digital money. She holds a PhD in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics.
