Maria Grazia Attinasi

Deputy Head, External Developments Division at European Central Bank

Maria Grazia Attinasi is a Deputy Head in the External Developments Division of the European Central Bank, which she joined as Lead economist in 2019. She focuses on the analysis of developments in the global economy with a particular focus on global trade and trade policy. Prior to this she worked as Economist in the Fiscal Policies Division of the ECB. Before joining the ECB she worked for the Asian Development Bank where she held roles in various Directorates. She holds a MSc. in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a PhD in International Law and Economics from Bocconi University.
