Patrick Premand

Economist in the Human Development Department of the Africa region at The World Bank

Patrick Premand is an Economist in the Human Development Department of the Africa region at the World Bank. His research focuses on building evidence on effective human development policies across areas such as youth employment, cash transfers, early childhood development or governance. He was previously working with the World Bank Strategic Impact Evaluation Fund, where he contributed to build capacity on impact evaluation among policymakers, and co-authored a book on impact evaluation in practice. He holds a DPhil in Economics from Oxford University.
