Petra Gerlach-Kristen is Associate Research Professor at the Economic and Social Research Institute and Trinity College, Dublin. Before joining ESRI, she worked at the Bank for International Settlements and the Swiss National Bank. Most of her research is policy oriented, focussing on inflation, output and interest rates, but she has also contributed to the theory of monetary policy committees.
