Rebecca Stuart is an Advisor in the Monetary Policy Division of the Central Bank of Ireland. She received her PhD in Economics in 2016 from University College Dublin, and was awarded the Barrington Medal 2016/2017, which recognises ‘promising new researchers in the economic and social sciences in Ireland’, by the Statistical and Social Inquiry Society of Ireland. Much of her research has focussed on quantitative approaches to 20th century Irish financial and macroeconomic history.
