Reto Foellmi is Professor of International Economics at the University of St. Gallen and a Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR, London). He earned his PhD in economics at the University of Zurich and he has held visiting appointments at M.I.T., Osaka University, Kobe University, and Mainz University. From 2007–2011, he was Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Bern. Reto Foellmi’s research interests lie in macroeconomics, economic growth, distribution and international trade. He has published extensively on these subjects, including two books (one with Princeton University Press) as well as several articles in leading journals.
