S. Pelin Berkman

S. Pelin Berkmen is currently an Economist in the Asia Pacific Department of the IMF, working on Japan. She has also worked in the Research Department and Western Hemisphere Department, and her country assignments include Argentina, and various Caribbean and Pacific Island countries. Ms. Berkmen, a Turkish national, holds a Ph.D. and MPA/ID from Harvard University. Before joining the IMF, she worked at the central bank of Turkey. Her research interests are open macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policies.
