Sabien Dobbelaere is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Research Fellow at Tinbergen Institute (TI, Amsterdam) & Institute of Labor Economics (IZA, Bonn). Her fields of specialization are applied microeconometrics and applied microeconomics. Her research focuses on the causes and consequences of labour and product market imperfections, shifts in the direction of innovation and market dynamics for both firms and workers.
