Sandy Tubeuf is Professor of Health Economics at Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium), and was previously at the University of Leeds (UK) and the University of York (UK). She is a visiting Professor at the Hospinnomics Chair at Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) and Paris School of Economics.  She received her PhD in 2008 from GREQAM at Aix-Marseille School of Economics under the co-supervision of Lise Rochaix and Alain Trannoy.  She has developed a substantial empirical and theoretical body of work on the understanding of inequalities of opportunities in health and other outcomes using survey data from France, the UK, and Europe. Her research portfolio includes the use of applied micro-econometrics methods for the analysis of health inequalities and economic evaluation of health programmes in mental health, public health, and patients’ decisions. She has published numerous research articles in health, public, labour and development economics. She sits on several advisory boards in the UK, France and Belgium (NIHR, ESRC, European Commission, DGOS, FNRS).
