Saul Lach is a Full Professor at the Department of Economics, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. His field of research is empirical industrial organisation with a focus on the evaluation of R&D support programs and on studies of price dispersion. Saul holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University and held visiting positions at Georgetown University and the Federal Reserve Board in Washington D.C. He served as an Editor of the Journal of Industrial Economics and of the Journal of Economic Development and Cultural Change.
