Economic Consultant at The World Bank

Saurabh has worked at the World Bank and International Monetary Fund on matters related to international and development economics. He regularly writes and presents on a wide range of topics including technology, trade, structural transformation, inclusive growth, poverty reduction, social development, public finance and macroeconomic policy. At the World Bank, he has worked with South Asia PREM, International Trade Department, Chief Economist Office Europe and Central Asia, Open Government Initiative at the World Bank Institute; he’s also been a Consultant to the International Monetary Fund’s Research and Africa Department, as well as the Agriculture and Commodities Division of the World Trade Organization. Since 2008, Saurabh has been working on knowledge architecture to facilitate greater social awareness. An alumni of the University of California Santa Cruz, he’s a songwriter, composer and a social entrepreneur.
