Stefan Bauernschuster is a Full Professor of Public Economics at the University of Passau and Research Professor at the Ifo Institute Munich; he is also affiliated with CESifo and IZA. Before moving to the University of Passau, Stefan Bauernschuster was deputy head of the Labor and Social Policy group at the Ifo Institute Munich. He holds a PhD in Economics from Friedrich Schiller University Jena. In his research, Stefan Bauernschuster uses micro-econometric methods to answer policy relevant questions in the fields of labor, population, and health economics.
