Tom NicholasĀ is William J. Abernathy Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. As an economic historian his research focuses on the historical foundations of innovation, entrepreneurship and wealth accumulation in America, Britain and Japan. He is also completing a book manuscript on the history of the venture capital industry. He holds a doctorate in Economic History from Oxford University.
