Ulaş Karakoç is an Assistant Professor at Economics Department of Kadir Has University in Istanbul. His research interests include economic history, development and economic geography, with particular focus on Turkey during the twentieth century. He holds a PhD in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and was a Research Fellow at Humboldt University Berlin.
