Viola Von Berlepsch

Viola von Berlepsch is a post-graduate researcher in Economic Geography at the London School of Economics. Her research focuses on the long-term impact of migration, evaluating the linkage between historical migration flows and subsequent economic growth. Special emphasis within her research is placed on compositional features of migration flows such as diversity or gender as well as path dependency in migrant settlement patterns over time. Prior to her research activity, Viola worked for several years at the Boston Consulting Group, working predominantly within the consumer product as well as the public sector. During her years as consultant, she supported many large international clients in their strategic planning processes as well as brand positioning initiatives and contributed to the firm’s strategy reports on overall economic growth and well-being.
