Yanhui Wu is Associate Professor of Economics and Management&Strategy at the HKU Business School, University of Hong Kong. Previously, he was assistant professor of Finance and Business Economics at the Marshall School of Business of the University of Southern California. He received his Ph.D. in Economics at the London School of Economics in 2011. Prior to his doctoral study, he was an award-winning financial journalist in China. His research focuses on media and politics, organizational economics, the economics of big data, and the Chinese economy.
