Analía Viola

Research Analyst at Foundation for Applied Economic Studies (FEDEA), PhD student at National University of Distance Education, Consultant at The World Bank

Analía Viola works at Fundación de Estudios de Economía Aplicada (FEDEA) since November 2011. Analía's research at FEDEA focused on applied health economics, long-term care and education issues. In September 2016 she started a doctoral program in Economics under the surpervision of Sergi Jiménez Martín at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) in Madrid, Spain. Prior to joining FEDEA, Analía worked as a researcher in an NGO named CIPPEC in the field of public policies, has done consultancy work at the National Institute for Agricultural Technology and worked at the Ministry of Economy in Argentina. Analía holds a MA in International Development Policy from Duke University (NC, USA) where she also worked in an associated Research Institute called Center on Globalization, Governance and Competitiveness. She has a B.A. in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina) and obtained a Master's degree in Social Policies at FLACSO Argentina.
