Ari Hyytinen is Professor of Economics at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. He is an applied micro-econometrician, with research interests in innovation, entrepreneurship, productivity, and competition. Hyytinen also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Aalto University, a Senior Research Fellow at the Research Institute of the Finnish Economy (ETLA), an Advisor of the Parliamentary Supervisory Council of the Bank of Finland, and a Member of Legislation Assessment Council (Finland's Prime Minister’s Office).
