Christian Zimmermann is Assistant Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He holds an undergraduate degree from the Universite de Lausanne and a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. He has previously worked at the Universite du Quebec e  Montreal, the Bank of Canada and the University of Connecticut. He has published articles in the International Economic Review, Journal of Monetary Economics, European Economic Review, Journal of Population Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Macroeconomics, and others. He is associate editor of the Review of Economic Dynamics and a core member of the RePEc team. His current research relates to optimal unemployment insurance, fluctuations and child labor, among others.
