Georgi Krustev

Business Cycle Analysis Division at European Central Bank

Georgi Krustev is currently an Economist at the Business Cycle Analysis Division of the ECB. Prior to this he was at the Directorate General International of the ECB where he monitored economic developments and conducted analyses and macroeconomic projections for the US and Canada. Georgi holds a PhD in economics from Goethe University Frankfurt, a M.Econ.Sc. degree from University College Dublin and a Laurea from the University of Siena. His research interests focus on topics related to the interaction between finance and real economic activity, sectoral balance sheet adjustments and monetary policy.
