Bruno Albuquerque

Bruno Albuquerque is a senior economist in the Macrofinancial Unit in the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department of the International Monetary Fund. Prior work experiences include the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, and the Banco de Portugal. Bruno’s research interests focus on empirical macroeconomics, monetary policy, and the linkages between private debt, financial stability, and the real economy. Bruno holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Ghent University, Belgium.
