Helios Herrera is a Professor in the Department of Economics at University of Warwick, UK, Director of the Political Economy Programme at CEPR and Visiting Professor at the LSE. His research interests are in political economy, broadly defined. His recent research agenda focuses on economic populism, identity politics and fake news.
Helios holds a PhD in Economics from New York University (NYU) and a B.A. in Physics from Pavia, Italy. He previously held academic positions at ITAM in Mexico City, at SIPA Columbia University, at HEC Montreal and at PUC-Rio.
