Helke Seitz

Economist at Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD)

Helke is an Economist in the Centre for Skills in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development where she contributes to the biennial Skills Outlook publication. Her work focuses on skills needs associated with the digital and green transformation. Prior to joining the OECD, Helke worked as an Economist at the German Institute for Economic Research where she contributed to research on adult participation in education and training, female labour force participation and implemented and evaluated finance trainings among microentrepreneurs in Uganda. Her work is published among others in the Journal of Human Resources, Demography and Economic Development and Cultural Change. She holds a Ph.D from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany.
