Ippei Fujiwara is a Professor of Macroeconomics at Keio University and the Australian National University (ANU). He is also Research Fellow at Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Fellow at Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research (ABFER), Faculty Fellow at Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI); Deputy Director at the Center for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA), ANU; advisory board member at the Macroeconomics, Growth and History Centre (MaGHiC), University of Kent; and Research Associate at the Globalization and Monetary Policy Institute, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He completed his DPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford (Nuffield), and a Ph.D. in Applied Economics at Osaka University. Professor Fujiwara worked for the Bank of Japan for 18 years before joining ANU in 2011. His research has focused on international finance, monetary economics, and macroeconomics. His recent publications are in the Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of International Economics, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Journal of Monetary Economics, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Review of Economic Dynamics, and Theoretical Economics.
