Josep Pijoan-Mas is a Full Professor of economics at CEMFI and a Research Fellow at CEPR. He obtained his PhD from University College London in 2002.
In 2003 he was awarded the Young Economist Award of the European Economic Association. His research has focused on a variety of issues related to income, wealth, and health inequality. His most recent work looks into the causes of productivity differences across countries.
