Julien Acalin is an economist in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund. He obtained his PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University in 2023. His research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics and international finance.
His previous work experience includes positions at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the International Monetary Fund, and the French Central Bank. He received a Master’s degrees in Economics and Finance from Paris Dauphine University and HEC Paris.
