Laszlo Jankovics

László Jankovics is an economist in the Secretariat of the European Fiscal Board. He worked previously as a fiscal economist at the European Commission, DG Economic and Financial Affairs, first at a country desk and subsequently in the team on national fiscal frameworks. While on unpaid leave from the Commission, he served as director for fiscal analysis at the Office of the Hungarian Fiscal Council. Prior to his Commission career, he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. László Jankovics is an author of several publications on fiscal governance and economic policy issues. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Debrecen.
