Laura Panza is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Melbourne. She has a PhD in economics from La Trobe University (Melbourne). Her research interests cover economic history and applied microeconomics topics, with a special focus on the economies of the Near East in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
