Menzie D. Chinn is a Professor in the University of Wisconsin's Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs and the Department of Economics. He served as a Senior Economist for international financial issues on the White House Council of Economic Advisers from 2000 to 2001. He has been a visitor at the Federal Reserve Board, European Central Bank, International Monetary Fund, and a fellow at the Congressional Budget Office. He is currently a Research Associate in the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Co-editor of the Journal of International Money and Finance.
