Olivier Accominotti is Professor of Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Research Fellow at the Centre of Economic Policy Research. He has previously held research and visiting positions at Princeton University, the University of California, Berkeley, the European University Institute, and the Bank of France. His research interests span the history of the global financial system and financial crises and his work has focused in particular on international crisis propagation, global capital flows, foreign exchange markets and currency speculation, sovereign debt defaults, international trade finance, and the structure of the global money market.
