Paolo Berta is Associate Professor of Social Statistics at the University of Milan-Biccoca (Italy). He is affiliated with the Health Econometrics and Data Group at York University and the Laboratory of Management in Health Care at the Scuola Sant'Anna in Pisa. His research activity focuses on the application and development of statistical and econometric methods and is devoted to the evaluation of healthcare systems, their quality and policy impact.
