Stefano is a Research Fellow at the European Commission's DG Joint Research Centre (JRC), Unit I.1 Modelling, Indicators and Impact Evaluation, in particular at the Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation (CC-ME) where he also provides support for counterfactual impact evaluation to the Directorate General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL). Stefano obtained a degree in Economic Statistics from University of Milan-Bicocca (2009) and a PhD in Economics from University of Milan (Italy) in 2013. Before joining the European Commission, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods of the University of Milan (Italy). His research interests are mainly related to Education and Health Economics, Counterfactual Impact Evaluation and Applied Micro-econometrics.
