Rahel Aichele

Rahel Aichele is an Economist at the Ifo Center for International Economics in Munich, Germany. She studied businesses and economics at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. She holds a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Munich for her thesis on Trade, Climate Policy and Carbon Leakage: Theory and Empirical Evidence. Rahel is a member of the CESifo research network. Her research focuses on the economic effects of international trade agreements, on international value-chains and on trade and the environment.
