RĂ©gis Barnichon is a Senior Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. His research interests are in macroeconomics and applied econometrics. He received a B.S. in Physics from Ecole Polytechnique (France) in 2002 and a Ph.D. in Economics from the London School of Economics (UK) in 2007. Before coming to San Francisco, Barnichon was a Researcher at CREI and an Affiliated Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain), an Economist at the Federal Reserve Board (2008-2011) and at the IMF (2007-08).
