Ryan Monarch is a Principal Economist in the International Finance Division of the Federal Reserve Board. His main research interests are in international economics, with an emphasis on buyer-seller trade relationships, measuring import price inflation for different groups, and the effects of tariffs. He received his PhD from the University of Michigan in 2014.
